My goal is simple: for every website
I design to be better than the last

As a freelance web developer, I’m always on the lookout for great clients and interesting projects to get involved with. I’m passionate about making things, learning new skills and keeping myself busy. Therefore I’m well suited to the ever-evolving world of website design and development.

Freelance Web Developer

In November 2013, I made the jump to working for myself as a freelance web developer and graphic designer. My full-time job prior to that was working as a front-end developer for a creative agency in Northampton, Engine Creative. I pride myself on being the ideal mid-point between designer and developer, bringing together the core skills of both specialisations, to offer my clients the best of both worlds.

Specialising in the design and development of websites built upon the popular content management system, WordPress, I work regularly with a range of clients. Some are individuals and small business owners looking for an affordable and professional way of presenting their business online, whereas others are design agencies looking for some additional support.

I offer the complete package of graphic design, web development, hosting and ongoing support.

Award-winning designer

Tim Keay D&AD Yellow PencilOK, so this was a while ago now… but it is still something of which I am very proud.

In July 2011, I completed a part-time degree in Graphic Communication at The University of Northampton. This was a good test of my organisation skills, juggling a full-time job, a part-time degree as well as a regular flow of freelance web design projects.

Fortunately, my efforts were rewarded. Not only did I graduate with a First Class honours degree, but I also enjoyed great success at the D&AD Student Awards in 2010. From over 3000 applicants from across the world, I came away with a first prize yellow pencil award and was shortlisted for the International Student of the Year.

What I Do

In addition to being a freelance web developer and designer, I also offer a range of other graphic design services to my clients:

  • Logo design
  • Branding and company stationery
  • Business card design
  • Brochures and corporate reports
  • Flyers and leaflets
  • Posters, banners and exhibition displays
  • MailChimp email templates
  • Web hosting and ongoing support

If you would like to see examples of any of the above, just ask.
